Congratulations students and families, you have almost gotten to the end of the first week back! We had another busy day, beginning with trying out the language activities for "5 au quotidien." I was impressed with the amount of French used around the room. We finished our "Tout à propos de moi" (All About Me) math activity, where students wrote facts about themselves (e.g., my soccer jersey number) and a corresponding multiplication for the answer (e.g., 3x12=36).

Continuing in math, I suggested 3 different strategies for multiplying 2-digit numbers (e.g., 13x35) and students tried out the one(s) that worked best for them.

Finally, we finished up some art we began yesterday, using line and other elements inspired by paintings created by Ojibwa artists.
I would just like to clarify that I will only be posting the pictures I take on this blog (then they will be deleted from my device), and that the blog can't be found through a Google search.
Thank you!
