Election Process

This morning we had our regular day 5 morning, with some library time (reminder that all books are due back by FRIDAY), a game of octopus outside, and then work on our autobiographies.

In math, we continued work on our word problems. Some were pretty tricky so quite a few students still need some more time on Thursday to finish up.

All afternoon, we talked about voting and the election process. After taking up a quiz from last week, partners read a card with a part of the election process on it and as a class we placed them in the correct order. Phewf, 15 steps in all! We will be holding a mock election in the next couple of weeks! We also analyzed the data that you provided with your survey answers (thanks!) and each group chose a way to show one of the 9 questions. Ask your child what they took away from it.

Just a reminder that tomorrow is Arts Day and to wear appropriate clothing for getting messy and moving around!
