Math Decoders

We began today with our 5 au quotidien program, and everyone was off doing their own thing in their reading groups. In French we also read a great Robert Munsch book and looked at the 6 Big Questions (who, what, where, when, why, how). You can talk about the funny story at home!

For math, students had a very important assignment. Mlle Bradfield had locked herself out of her phone and couldn't remember her password! (Not again!!). Thankfully, students were able to figure out the password by solving several 2-digit by 2-digit multiplication problems and following specific directions. Here are some students hard at work and trying out their answer in the phone.

To finish the day, we had our first Science lesson! We talked about the different types of energy and categorized different examples. I will attach a picture of our chart tomorrow so that you can have discussions at home if you wish.
