Our morning began with a scavenger hunt in the library with Mrs. Greer, learning how to use the online book searching engine. We miiiiiight need some more practice another day...
After our APQ (activitié physique quotidienne), we got through our 5 au quotidien before first break.
In math, continuing with decimals, we talked about how to round decimals to the nearest dixième (tenth) and to the nearest unité (one). In case students forget, I wrote down the steps in English here:

This afternoon we had reading buddies with our grade 7 friends from Mlle Rubletz's class. We decided this time to have half come here and half go to her portable, as you can imagine how loud and crowded it was last time with 50+ students in one room...Many students enjoyed playing word games and reading to each other.
We continued math last period outside! We measured different items, put our measurements into decimals, rounded them, and ordered them biggest to smallest. Some students measured smaller items such as leaves or a brick, while others felt a bit more ambitious, measuring soccer goal posts and part of the climber!
