Picture Day!

Our morning was a bit crazy today! We started off in the library, finishing our library scavenger hunt with Mrs. Greer. We weren't quite finished but suddenly had to go for our pictures! Everyone looked extra nice today! Students took their pictures one after the other, and I practiced the perfect smile with those waiting in line... The photographers said proofs will be delivered to the school in a few weeks and sent home with students. By the time we got out of there, we only had time for some APQ outside before snack break. Tough morning right? ;)

In math, we did our dictée that we missed from the morning, and then played a great block game, similar to Blokus. Ask your child how to play, and how their team did!

The afternoon was dedicated to art. I'm entering some of our class' work into a contest for the school board, where they pick one student's art to be the front of the Upper Grand's seasons greetings card for this year. Many students chose to participate. We talked about different celebrations around December, and alternatives to "Christmas designs," as not everyone celebrates Christmas. They all turned out beautifully.

Have a super weekend!
