Origami

This morning began with our 5 au quotidien. Then we split up into groups and did some reading! Yesterday we make origami monsters and so I wanted to give a bit of background history. In groups of 4, each member read a different part and then shared their findings with their group. We focused on how to pull out important information and retell in our own words. Ask your child what their part was about!

In math, we continued talking about time. We learning how to write it normally, and in the international system. We started looking at how to figure out elapsed time, which will be our focus for the rest of the week.

After lunch, students finished up their social studies projects and most groups presented. Some students were away and others weren't quite finished, so we will do those on Thursday.
