A chilly Wednesday

Students wrapped up, shuffling like penguins, and pink in the face met me this morning from outside - it's getting cold! Please remember to dress warmly!

This morning in physEd class, we had 4 mini-games of volleyball and one large game at the end. It's a tough game to play with so many varying levels, but most tried their best.

Afterwards, students finished their Remembrance Day readings and questions in their groups. We will be sharing our answers on Friday!

In math, we wrote and drew comic strip stories, using time as much as we could in the story (e.g., she got up at 6:30 in the morning and....). Many stories were uh, quite, creative? But everyone practiced using the 24hour clock, which was the goal!

In health, we kind of wrapped up our discussions on online safety and etiquette. We found out that cybertip.ca and Kids Help Phone can be great places to go for help. Next week we will be solidifying all of the knowledge and skills we've been learning for the past few weeks.

Just a reminder to please book a time for a parent/guardian - teacher interview!
