Secret Art Project...

We spent a good chunk of our time this morning working on our French stories for the back of a book. I was blown away by how much everyone was quietly concentrating on their work - many students are now on their good copies! Rough copies must be finished for Friday.

In math, we learned a new kind of graph - a circular graphe (une diagramme circulaire). The proportions of the different "slices" is a tricky concept, so I think we will need to spend more time on this. Tomorrow I will be away at a PD session, and hopefully the supply will cover broken line graphs, but we will see on Thursday how things went haha.

After reading buddies in the afternoon, we worked on some art for Santa's Breakfast. I don't want to give it all away, because they turned out super-gorgeous, but here's a taste!
