This morning we had a special treat - Mrs. Greer, our librarian extraordinaire, spent an hour with us this doing The Hour of Code - look it up online and ask your child! They coded some gaming information for a MineCraft game - pretty cool!

In math, we analyzed diagrams showing the same information, but that looked very different because of the scale on their verticale axes. We talked about how the same information can look the way you want it to if you play around with the numbers on the side. We will be continuing this tomorrow.

The last two periods, we worked on music! After a vocal warm up, we sang through "Believe" up to the second verse - getting better, but still some work to do! Please listen a couple of times at home, or even better, sing along with Mr. Groban ;)

Changing gears, students then worked in groups with small djembe drums to come up with different sounds and rhythms behind a song they picked. There was some great drumming and singing! (And I think, for once, we were louder than Mr. P next door haha)
