Respect Assembly

We got to work this morning on our Health final projects as we will be making moccasins tomorrow during our normal Health time. Students are doing a great job, I can't wait to see the finished projects! After some exercise outside, we worked on transition words for our procedural writing (e.g., At the beginning, next, in conclusion).

In math, we finished up some questions on symmetry. Students enjoyed used the Mira's to draw something, place the Mira on the axis of symmetry, and then draw their symmetrical image on the other side! Some were quite creative!

The last two periods, our class and Mlle Rubletz's class hosted the Service Respect assembly. Everyone did a wonderful job, whether performing, MC'ing, or having done the background work like the posters and videos. Thanks for everyone's contributions and hard work, as well as the parents/guardians who could come to support us!

Just a reminder that our dictee is tomorrow as it is a PD Day on Friday. Also, please ensure you've paid online and brought back both the Escarpment Adventures form+Concussion form, as well as the one for skiing. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns about these.
