Friday morning started off with our second and last day of the Ropes Challenge! This time the firecracker rope was open, and students got to use dodgeballs to try and score a basket when up in the air! Then we finished up a few leftover things for language, as well as finished cutting the fringe on any unfinished moccasins.

In math, we did a quick check in to see how things are going with angles and polygons. Most students got 5/6 or 6/6, so it seems like things are going well! They will receive these back tomorrow, answers will be discussed as a class, and students can resubmit their corrected work to increase their points. We are moving onto 3D shapes tomorrow!
Our health presentations took up the rest of the afternoon. The amount of information and work put into these projects was outstanding, I'm so proud of their efforts. They will receive these marks back this week as well.
Our finished moccasins are in the display case right by the office - please check them out if you get a chance, and talk about the project with your child. Hopefully we've made a small difference in 13 Indigenous babies' lives.

Make sure to check the buses Tuesday and Wednesday - it's not looking pretty!
