Fantastic Friday!

On Friday we began our day in the gymnasium, working on skills to improve hitting a target. We discussed how ensuring your body was facing the target, looking at where you wanted it to go, and following through were essential to hitting a target, no matter what the sport. The last game was a relay race, where students received a different amount of points for the size of the ball the knocked over. The twist was that they had to do it while on a bouncy ball ;)

We continued our exploration of fractions, working in teams to figure out equivalent fractions. I've sent home 2 questions that need to be completed for homework, due on Tuesday. We will take up the answers and see where we need to keep working. We even had some time for fraction Bingo!

In the afternoon, we also continued the rest of the dance presentations, adding Kolo, Ecstatic, and the Polka to our repertoire of learned dances! It was fun!

A reminder that we're heading to the theatre on Tuesday from 9:30-12:30. Have a great long weekend!
