Book Report

We started off this morning by working on our book reports (students should be bringing a French book to class everyday, preferably the one they're reading nightly at home). This will take us through the month of March. We spent some time outside, and then finished the morning with 5 au quotidien.

In math, we practiced some revision questions on equivalent fractions and ordering fractions. Students seem to be going through them well. We will have more time to finish up tomorrow.

In the afternoon, we looked at how the water cycle is really just a bunch of physical changes, changes in state. Bill Nye gave us some info, and then we began labelling a diagram of the water cycle with the physical changes. We will continue next week, as we had a visit from a special visitor - She came to explain to us how to use Number Talks, or Des Discussions de nombres! More on that tomorrow!

Students seemed kinda blah today, maybe a weather thing...hopefully the rain tomorrow brings more energy? ;)
