We got off a chilly start this morning, working on our interactive art in our groups! Some are coming along nicely, and everyone has a creative idea of how to get others to interact with their piece. We will be continuing these next week. We also had some more time to work on our book reports, and many students are working hard of these, already having completed a few pages.

In math, we continued practicing improper fractions. Again, some students came to the front for some extra examples at the blackboard, however after a few examples, a couple of students took over my teaching and the whole group began to help and teach each other! It was very cool to watch. Sometimes an explanation from someone else who has a different way of seeing it is all it takes!

After second break we had our reading buddies, and new partnerships were made. Students read to each other and played some language games in French.

At the end of the day (math again), we began our final task for fractions. Rather than a test, we are "making pizzas" and then will need to answer questions regarding specific topping fractions, equivalent fractions, and ordering fractions. It took longer than I thought to make, however students were really into it so I just let it flow. We will continue on Monday.

Have a wonderful weekend!
