A busy day outside, learning about the Earth at our first of three days at Earthkeepers. Our leaders Loon and Quartz helped us learn about the food chain, how to make a great litterless lunch, and how water, air, and soil molecules create a cycle. Here students are applying their knowledge in their training manuals.

Out in the forest, groups work on putting different plants in animals into the categories of "sun-munchers, plant-munchers, and animal-munchers."

Students explore how much sunlight plants and animals receive as you go down the food chain.

Students are sitting and working in their "magic spot." The idea is to find somewhere with no one else around, relax while experiencing nature, and write down or draw their feelings and observations.

Please look at the forecast tomorrow and dress appropriately! Rain boots, splash pants, rain jacket, and warm clothing are recommended :)
