Grids Outside

We used the beautiful day today to take our math outside! Students made our two types of coordinate systems in pairs, and then wrote instructions for another team to use to follow on their grid. Students then switched groups and followed the instructions to see what the other group wanted them to draw. It worked very well, and I think we'll try it out for translating and rotating shapes on Monday.

In the afternoon, we learned about the digestive system! Gross, but cool. We simulated some bread going through our bodies, ask your child about the different parts!

Happy Mother's Day to all the mums out there! :)
