Science models

After our regular Day 5 morning of library, outside time, and finishing up our letters in French, we had a short math quiz and finished up some outstanding work. Everyone concentrated very well.

In the afternoon, we started a new science project. Students are making models of themselves, and choosing one body system we've learned about (e.g., respiratory system) to show in their model. This can be drawn "inside" their bodies, or other items can be attached (e.g., balloons for lungs). It was a tight squeeze in the classroom, but everyone got to the cutting out or drawing phase :)

A reminder that we are skipping for Jump Rope for Heart for 100min on Tuesday, so wear appropriate clothing and bring a water bottle! Any money is due Thursday.
