Algebra Scavenger Hunt

Today we started off in the library, continuing our coding projects. Students have been using the program Scratch to learn how to code and create designs. Ask your child what they've been working on!

After our Respect assembly, we searched through the school high and low to find hidden algebra questions. We checked over our answers and worked through a few tricky ones as a class.

In the afternoon, we learned a bit about the voting process. Students came up with a few "what I know already"s and there were quite a number of "I want to know"s, which is so great. A few interesting questions included "do you have to vote by law?" "where do you go to vote?" "how long after the candidates are announced do you have to make your decision?" Your child should have brought home a quick anonymous survey for an adult to fill out. Please do this over the next week so we can share our data next class!
